English Center
The English Center offers tutoring services in writing and reading for students. The Center was established to provide one-to-one instruction for students enrolled in composition and Great Books courses. However, the consultants work with students from other courses as well.
More specifically, the consultants in the English Center can help you get started writing by teaching you how to brainstorm for ideas. Consultants can help you learn to organize those ideas and to develop plans for your papers. Once you have a draft, consultants can answer your questions about how to revise your papers and even read drafts to see if they make sense. Consultants can also answer questions about sentence structure and punctuation.
Advocates for Disability Awareness
We believe it is our responsibility to educate the community about disabilities and the individuals living with them. ADA strives to increase awareness by, first and foremost, educating ourselves about disabilities through sharing our experiences and understanding. ADA believes in performing services for those in the disabled community and interaction with those persons helps us in educating others and ourselves. Finally, sharing our knowledge through service and discussions educates. others of the world of disabilities. Advocates for Disability Awareness hopes to contribute to the positive changes in the rights and possibilities for a person with a disability.
